Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 8 slices ham
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Gruyère, divided
  • 2 tablespoons butter

  3. Step 3. Broil for 2 minutes per side until toasted.

  4. Step 4. Spoon the béchamel over the sandwiches, top with the remaining cheese, and broil for 3 minutes until bubbling and golden.
