Cucumber Raita

Cool, creamy yogurt with cucumber and toasted cumin. Eases spicy dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 cucumber, grated and squeezed dry
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, toasted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped mint
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder

Steps

  1. Step 1. Whisk the yogurt until smooth.

  2. Step 2. Stir in the cucumber, cumin, salt, and mint.

  3. Step 3. Chill for 15 minutes.

  4. Step 4. Sprinkle with chili powder before serving.
