Champorado
Sweet chocolate rice porridge with a drizzle of milk. Traditionally eaten with salty dried fish.

Ingredients
- 1 cup glutinous rice
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder or 4 tablets tablea
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Steps
Step 1. Boil the rice in the water, then simmer for 20 minutes, stirring now and then, until soft.
Step 2. Whisk in the cocoa until smooth.
Step 3. Add the sugar and salt and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until thick and creamy.
Step 4. Stir in the vanilla. Serve hot with a swirl of evaporated milk.
