Salted Edamame

Ingredients

  • 1 lb frozen edamame in the pod
  • 1 tablespoon salt, for the water
  • 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt
  • 1 lemon wedge, optional

Steps

  1. Step 1. Boil the edamame in water with the 1 tablespoon of salt for 4 to 5 minutes.

  2. Step 2. Drain well and shake dry.

  3. Step 3. Toss with the flaky salt while hot.

  4. Step 4. Serve warm or at room temperature and squeeze the beans from the pods with your teeth.
