Mint Chutney

A bright, tangy green sauce of mint, cilantro, and lime for samosas, kebabs, and sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mint leaves
  • 1 cup cilantro, with tender stems
  • 1 green chili
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 inch piece ginger
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons water

Steps

  1. Step 1. Put everything in a blender.

  2. Step 2. Blend until smooth, adding a little more water if needed.

  3. Step 3. Taste and adjust the salt and lime.

  4. Step 4. Keeps 4 days in the fridge.
