Miso-Glazed Salmon

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets, 6 oz each
  • 3 tablespoons white miso
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 1 tablespoon sake
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 green onion, sliced

Steps

  1. Step 1. Whisk the miso, mirin, sake, sugar, and soy sauce.

  2. Step 2. Coat the salmon and marinate for 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours in the fridge. Wipe off the excess.

  3. Step 3. Broil on a lined sheet 6 inches from the heat for 8 to 10 minutes until the glaze browns and the salmon reaches 145°F and flakes easily.

  4. Step 4. Top with green onion and serve with rice.
