Vinagrete

A fresh, tangy salsa of tomato, onion, and pepper that goes with every Brazilian barbecue.

Ingredients

  • 3 tomatoes, finely diced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro or parsley
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Steps

  1. Step 1. Mix the tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, and herbs.

  2. Step 2. Add the vinegar, oil, and salt and toss.

  3. Step 3. Rest 15 minutes before serving.

  4. Step 4. Keeps 2 days in the fridge.
