Pão de Alho

Brazilian-style garlic bread: soft rolls with garlic butter and cheese, baked until bubbling.

Ingredients

  • 6 French bread rolls or 1 baguette, split
  • 6 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella

Steps

  1. Step 1. Heat the oven to 400°F. Mix the butter, garlic, parsley, and salt.

  2. Step 2. Spread the garlic butter on the cut sides of the bread.

  3. Step 3. Top with the cheese.

  4. Step 4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden.
