Garlic Stir-Fried Greens

Water spinach or any leafy green stir-fried in a flash with a lot of garlic.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb water spinach, bok choy, or spinach, cut in 3-inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Steps

  1. Step 1. Wash and dry the greens well.

  2. Step 2. Heat the oil in a wok over high heat. Add the garlic and stir for 15 seconds.

  3. Step 3. Add the greens, fish sauce, and sugar. Toss for 2 to 3 minutes until just wilted.

  4. Step 4. Add the pepper and serve right away.
