Yakisoba

Stir-fried wheat noodles with pork, cabbage, and a tangy savory sauce.

Ingredients
- 3 portions yakisoba noodles
- 1/2 lb thinly sliced pork belly or shoulder
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 carrot, cut in matchsticks
- 3 cups cabbage, chopped
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 tablespoons yakisoba sauce or Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- Pickled red ginger and aonori, to top
Steps
Step 1. Loosen the noodles by microwaving or soaking in hot water for 1 minute.
Step 2. Cook the pork in the oil over high heat for 3 minutes until browned and cooked through.
Step 3. Add the carrot, cabbage, and onion and stir-fry for 4 minutes.
Step 4. Add the noodles, yakisoba sauce, soy sauce, and ketchup and toss for 3 minutes. Top with ginger and aonori.
